Just got back from my week of lessons in Lecce, and in need of well deserved relax, I spent a good part of the afternoon watching videos on YT and scrolling both my Tumblr dashboard and my LJ friend page. I found this, and since it's very funny, I thought I'd share it. After all, we're all in need of a good laugh, aren't we?

... how much I've enjoyed this season of Fringe.


I loved what they did erasing Peter from the plot and thus creating a whole new setting of backstories and relationships in both universes. I loved that they brought him back and till (almost) the very end we didn't know if he was just in a different timeline or if he was in the right timeline, which was made different by his previous absence. Well, thinking about it maybe the result is the same :D

The thing I liked the most was the way they took events - and characters too: Jones, anyone? - from season one and gave them new life. I have to admit, it bothered me that S1 main storyline went nowhere, with the second universe being broungt into the plot at some point. Ok, it was a more interesting plot - even more so for the challenges it put the main cast, bar Joshua Jackson, through - but it still bothered me that some facts were left unresolved. So imagine my excitement when this fourth season seemed a cross between a season one reboot and a brand new scenario. Which in a way I suppose it was.

I also very much appreciate that this season arc is now closed. I have a feeling they weren't sure of being renewed for another year so near the end of the season they basically tied up all loose ends and closed all the main plots. I like that the 2036 episode would have been both a look into the future will would've never seen - a terrible future for humanity - and the hope that, however much hard that battle might be, our team would've eventually found a way to save our world.

However I'm very happy that there will be another short season: the writers now have the possibility of building something epic and I'm very ready for it :D

It's old news already, but who's excited for JJ Abrams' and Eric Kripke new show on NBC???? Well, I don't know about you, but I definitely am. I'm sure whatever this show is about - I confess my ignorance - it will be grea!! For lack of better words :)

On a final note, I still have to chatch up with Supernatural, the last two episodes. I'm still enjoying this season so far. I'll maybe repeat myself, but up till now these Leviathans have proven themselves far better baddies then any demon or angel we've had on the show (bar Ruby, of course, always my favorite bitch :D) At the very last they are so much funnier, lol.

 
And after almost a whole day I did finally it, I managed to put all my videos, a few pics and my tweets during the convention all together :)
I wish I had more time to write something down about how awesome it all was, starting whith how amazing it was so see all my jibcon buddies again, which for me was half the fun, how funny it was to play the tourist and get lost in the Vatican Museums (and try NOT to get lost in a big city like Rome when the transportation workers are on strike).

All in all, I had a blast, a vacation I really, really needed.

Unfortunately it's time to get back to real life, so, before I get to bed for a couple of hours of sleep and thenI leave for work for a week or so (I'll be in a beautiful place, but no internet on my pc, which basically means no tv shows and no Tumblr, dear me), I thought I'd post here all things JibCon 3.

I put in this playlist all the videos I took: the first 16 were taken with my phone so the quality is crappy, but they were uploaded almost live, during the convention (and they're included in the Storify collection), the rest of them were taken by my sis and I with our camera and are in better quality.

And that will be all. There are still a few pics, but really, they're not so good so I can honestly go on as a fan without posting them on line.

Mine is being quite slow, with lots of food and relatives, lol. And in between cooking and reading (Downton Abbey) fanfictions I even managed to have some real work done, so I can't complain :)

... and since I don't want any spoilers I'm basically staying away from Tumbrl as much as I can. However I came across this and I had to share it, 'cause seriously, it is so very strange when you find yourself shipping two characters who haven't even met (yet), but you can't help thinking that they would be perfect for one another, lol

There are a lot of fans who love the idea of Jon and Daenerys (Emilia Clarke) together, but they've never even met. Would you want to have some screen time with Dany?

I would love it, but I don't quite think it's going to happen. I mean, who wouldn't want to be with Daenerys, right? I'd always had it in my head that they'll meet one day. I think it would be really exciting if they did. "A Song of Ice and Fire" is what the whole series is called, and Jon seems to be in the icy part, and Daenerys is in the fire, so it seems like it may happen.

So, basically, I ship Jon/Dany even if it sounds crazy, a lot of people in the fandom ship them and the actors themselves ship them!! So, well... yeah. 

- Dean, you've got to be careful with her. Don't hurt her.

Back then Sam and Dean were still so very young, far more innocent than they are now and they still had a father, as bad as John Winchester could be even in his best days. They knew near to nothing about demons, but what they did know was that as hunters their first priority was to save the possessed innocent human.

It bothers me that they seem to forget that too often nowadays. After all how does the infamous motto says? Saving people, hunting things, not the other way around.

I'd like to have a little more Latin and a little less knife work.
